About

Melissa Headshot.jpeg

I'm a mechatronics and dynamics-focused Mechanical Engineer driven by a passion for creativity.

Projects that Spark Joy:

From contributing on the Duke Weaselton robot at Disney Imagineering to designing a mechatronic device and iOS app to generate music from movement, I thrive on transforming creative concepts into tangible, awe-inspiring realities.

Education:

I hold a Master's in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Dynamics, Mechatronics, and Automatic Controls, as well as a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Computer Science, both from Stanford.

Extracurricular Involvement:

I am a founding member and was previously Co-President of Stanford Undergraduates in Mechanical Engineering (SUME). Additionally, I was a member of the Stanford Wind Symphony, playing flute and piccolo, and performed in the pit orchestra for several musicals with Ram's Head and the Stanford Light Opera Company.
